I got to see an early copy of this book and it is ADORABLE. It is destined to be a storytime favorite. The language and humor make it a perfect interactive readaloud. (In fact, I have already been talking it up in my storytime and educator trainings because I am so excited about it!) In addition to being a raucous readaloud, it’s a great story for opening up discussions about what happens when we have needs that aren’t being met, how to ask for what we need, and to encourage all kids (and adults) to be more empathetic and try to understand what might be behind someone else’s “improper” behavior.
